Shawn Porter Has No Doubt Who Wins Terence Crawford vs Prime Manny Pacquiao

Former two-time welterweight champion Shawn Porter has shared his thoughts on a fantasy clash between former rival Terence Crawford and Manny Pacquiao.

Porter faced ‘Bud’ Crawford in the 36th and final bout of his professional career back in November of 2021, suffering a tenth round stoppage defeat to the pound-for-pound great at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas.

A clash between ‘Showtime’ and Filipino boxing legend Pacquiao never did actually take place during the American’s tenure, although the duo did spar each other on a number of occasions throughout their respective careers.

Pacquiao made a sensational return to the ring earlier this year when he fought to a draw against reigning WBC world welterweight champion Mario Barrios, although many fans and analysts have argued that the eight-weight world champion had done enough to be declared the winner.

In a game of ‘Winner Stays On’ with The Daily Mail, Porter was asked to predict who he believes would have prevailed in a fantasy clash between Crawford and ‘PacMan’.

“Terence Crawford.”

‘Bud’ claimed the biggest win of his professional career earlier this month when he stepped up two weight divisions to defeat Canelo Alvarez and become undisputed super-middleweight champion.

It was the third division that Crawford has managed to become undisputed that after already achieving it at super-lightweight and welterweight, making him the first male boxer in history to accomplish it.

Some fans felt after the victory over Canelo that ‘Bud’ should take the chance to retire at the perfect time, and it has now been revealed whether that appears to be an option for Crawford.
