There is a growing chance that Daniel Dubois gets his rematch against Oleksandr Usyk and Prince Naseem Hamed has shared his views on the fight.

Dubois first took on Usyk in Poland back in the summer of 2023. The Brit had bounced back from a loss to Joe Joyce and this represented his first world title challenge, with Usyk then holding the WBA, WBO and IBF belts.

Dubois infamously managed to put the Ukrainian down to the canvas for the first time in his career. However, the shot was ruled low and Usyk was given all the time he needed to recover.

He did exactly that, piled on the pressure and stopped ‘DDD’ in the 9th round to retain his unified world titles.

Usyk went on to twice beat Tyson Fury to become undisputed champion, though vacated the IBF belt ahead of the second fight.

Dubois picked that up after beating Filip Hrgovic then defended it by knocking out Anthony Joshua last September.

He was set to defend it once again back in February but fell ill late in the day and pulled out, leaving challenger Joseph Parker to instead stop Martin Bakole inside two rounds.

Dubois now has options for his comeback, but top of the list is a second fight with Usyk for the chance to become undisputed.

Speaking to The Stomping Ground, ‘Prince Nas’ backed Dubois to get the job done in the rematch.

“In my eyes, for me, he’s the only one, ‘DDD’ is the only one who has ever hurt Usuk and put him down on the floor and made him think. He was down there for three or four minutes.

“Who’s to say once he fights Usyk again he won’t go out there and absolutely destroy him and bring the belts back to our country where they should be?”

Usyk has confirmed that the fight with Dubois is the one he wants, eager to create more history by becoming undisputed for a third time in his career.
