Tomás “Gusano” Rojas, 49-16-1-(33),scored an upset 12 round majority decision win over former world champion Jhonny Gonzalez, 66-11-(54),Coliseo Arena in Mexico City on Saturday night.
Rojas boxed his way the tightest of wins while Gonzalez relied too much on trying to score a ko. The 114-114,114-113, and 116-112 points win for Rojas won him the WBC international featherweight title.
