Super bantamweight Danny Roman, 18-2-1,-(6 ), scored a fifth round knockout win over Ramiro Robles, 12-5-1-( 6) at the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, California on Friday night.
Roman, who made his second successful defense of the NABA title and was cut on the right eyebrow, decked Robles with a body shot.
On the undercard Super Featherweight Fernando Fuentes out pointed Jorge Ruizover six rounds. In a Super Middleweight bout Rudy Puga knocked out Alejandro Osunain the seconds round. Osuna was down in rounds one and two..
In a middleweight bout Miguel Trejo knocked out Tom Howard in the first round.
At Heavyweight LaRon Mitchell scored first round knockout over Juan Manuel Dominguez Silva and at Super Bantamweight Jhordy Ramirez out pointed Juan Carlos Diaz over four rounds. RamÃrez was down from body shot in round two and ended the fight with a swollen right eye.
