Roy Jones Jr once trained Chris Eubank Jr and has now been speaking about his chances in the rematch with Conor Benn.

These two finally came to blows back in April after more than two years of animosity, heated verbal exchanges, egg slaps and a failed drugs test from Benn.

The fight lived up to expectations across all 12 rounds with both men throwing punches with mean intent. After weathering an early storm, Eubank managed to get a hold as the bigger, more experienced fighter and ran out a unanimous points winner come the final bell.

They do it all again in November, again at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and speaking to Titan Play, Jones went with size when making his prediction, though said it won’t be an easy night for his old charge.

“Eubank should win because he’s the bigger fighter. But it’ll be tough — Conor will make adjustments, smart ones, and make it a much better fight. It’ll be good, but Chris should win again because of the size. But it’ll be just as competitive as the first one.

Both will make adjustments and come back better. The difference is, you might get a knockout this time because both will be at each other even harder. Both felt they did well the first time, so they’ll come back stronger and hungrier. The bigger guy should win — but anything can happen.”

Benn will again be coming up from his natural welterweight division to middleweight, while Eubank will not be allowed to add more than 10lbs on the morning of the fight following the official weigh-in the day before.
