Heavyweight prospect Andy Ruiz went 27-0-(18), Saturday night with an impressive fourth round tko win over former world title challenger Ray “The Rainman” Austin, 29-7-4-(18),at the Sportsman’s Lodge in Studio City, California.
Ruiz decked Austin at the end of the opening round one and continued to beat him up until the veteran 45-year-old was pulled out at the end of the fourth round.
On the undercard unbeaten Esquiva Falcao,15-0-(11), scored a fourth round tko win over Paul Valenzuela. The fight was stopped due to a cut over Venezuela’s right eye.
In a junior welterweight bout Maxim Dadashev stopped Rashad Bogar in the fourth round.
