Shakur Stevenson will face Joe Cordina as chief support to the Artur Beterbiev versus Dmitry Bivol ‘Four Crown Showdown’ in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The full October 12 undercard has now been announced and, in true Riyadh Season fashion, it is stacked from top to bottom with big names. Before Beterbiev and Bivol battle it out to crown the first undisputed champion in the light-heavyweight division since Roy Jones Jr, WBC Lightweight Champion Stevenson will welcome former super-featherweight champ Joe Cordina to the 135 ranks.
Fresh off a highly-publicised deal with BOXXER, Chris Eubank Jr returns against 25-2-2 Kamil Szeremeta after Fabio Wardley and Frazer Clarke battle it out again for the British heavyweight title – as 50-50 a fight as they come given the first instalment was a draw.
Jai Opetaia puts his IBF Cruiserweight and Ring Magazine titles on the line against Manchester’s Jack Massey in a step down from his hard-fought win over Mairis Briedis. Rising UK star Ben Whittaker, another BOXXER fighter, makes his Saudi debut against Sheffield’s Liam Cameron and Skye Nicolson-Raven Chapman represents the first female bout on a Riyadh Season card.
