Three-weight undisputed champion Claressa Shields has shared her reaction to Anthony Joshua‘s emphatic stoppage victory over Jake Paul.

Former unified heavyweight champion ‘AJ’ stopped Paul in the sixth round of their controversial heavyweight clash at the Kaseya Center in Miami on Friday night.

Despite the best efforts of ‘The Problem Child’ to evade anything coming his way, the 28-year-old tired and was forced to stand in front of ‘AJ’, who weighed in at a whopping 28.6lbs heavier than the American.

It was revealed after the bout that Paul had suffered a double broken jaw from the knockout blow, leaving the Phoenix-native requiring emergency surgery on Saturday morning which is said to have gone well.

Speaking on social media, female superstar Shields shared her thoughts on the outcome of the controversial match-up, telling the Brit he did a ‘good job’ despite it taking longer than expected to get the finish.

“Damn……. Jake Paul yo ass really crazy you lasted 6 round with Anthony Joshua! Mannnn! But AJ you showed his ass boxing ain’t no damn joke. Good job.”

Joshua wasted no time in calling out long-term domestic rival Tyson Fury shortly after the result was confirmed, with reports suggesting that the British duo are on the verge of finalising a deal to finally lock horns in 2026.

As for Paul, the 28-year-old is expected to be out of action until at least the middle of next year, although the former YouTube star has vowed to come back better than ever as he targets a shot at a world cruiserweight title in the future.
