European light heavyweight champion Robert Stieglitz, 50-5-2-(29), retained his title with a 12 round draw against Nikola Sjekloca, 32-4-1-(11), at the Leipzig Arena in Leipzig, Germany on Saturday.
The former two-time world super middleweight champ looked fortunate to retain his title by scores of 115-113 for Stieglitz, 114-114,even and 114-113 for Sjekloca.
On the undercard light heavyweight prospect Dominic Bösel, 24-0-(9), scored a sixth round stoppage win over Sami Enbom, 14-1-(7). A body shot sent Enbom crashing to the canvas and the fight was stopped.
Former world heavyweight title challenger Mariusz Wach, 33-2-(17) scored a 12 round unanimous decision win over Erkan Teper, 16-2-(10). The scores were 116-112, 115-113 and 115-113, all for Wach.
