Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson are just one day away from their intriguing domestic showdown in New York City.

Lopez will make the fourth defence of his WBO super-lightweight title against three-weight world champion Stevenson at the iconic Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.

Stevenson is setting his sights on becoming a world champion in a fourth weight class but is faced with what could be the toughest test of his professional career to date.

Lopez is yet to make a return to action since he comprehensively defeated Arnold Barboza Jr via unanimous decision at the conclusion of their clash at Times Square in New York last May.

Ahead of their clash on Saturday evening, Stevenson and Lopez have have been tasked with rating each others skills from 1 to 10 in a feature with Matchroom Boxing.

Whilst both fighters were generous in rating one anothers ring IQ, Lopez gave a rating of 2 for Stevenson’s punching power. Stevenson rated Lopez’s chin a 7, but played down his future rival’s fighting style, which he rates at 5 out of 10. Lopez goes on to give a harsh rating for Stevenson’s heart however, as he scores the unbeaten star 0 out of 10.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the outcome of the exciting match-up between Stevenson and Lopez in what could prove to be one of the biggest fights of 2026.
