Teofimo Lopez is one of boxing’s most outspoken champions.

The 27-year-old is a two-weight titlist in the light and super-lightweight ranks with statement wins over Vasiliy Lomachenko and Josh Taylor.

Lopez often fights to the level of his opposition, and he has eyes on the man many feel is the very best boxer in the sport, Terence Crawford.

Willing to move up to super-welterweight to make it happen, Lopez has been consistently attempting to goad the four-weight world champion into taking the fight.

Speaking to 210 Boxing TV, he continued to call Crawford out but claimed that he wouldn’t fight him because he was entering his prime years.

“I just want to beat you guys cause you guys are not good. You don’t believe in yourself. You don’t. Because if you did you would have the tougher opposition and beat their butt, and better than me.

Errol Spence was washed when Terence Crawford fought him. Jose Benavidez was shot in the leg and had to prepare for a fight handicapped pretty much. You beat him, but you had a hard time those first four or five rounds. You want to talk about Shawn Porter? He was on his way out!”

“Don’t start with me, you don’t wanna get there. Instead of talking about it, let’s just make it happen. You know what’s the problem? You guys know I’m about to touch my prime and you don’t wanna see any of it. At all.

Crawford is undefeated in 41 fights. His most high profile win was Errol Spence Jr to become undisputed welterweight champion, but he also has wins over the likes of Kell Brook, Julius Indongo, Viktor Postol and Shawn Porter. Most recently, he made his debut at 154 pounds to beat young and tough Israil Madrimov over the distance.

Crawford isn’t likely to entertain Lopez’ fight offer, but has warned him that he would beat him outside the ring should he continue to hound him.
