Teofimo Lopez defends his WBO Super-lightweight World Title against Arnold Barboza Jr tonight.
It sees Lopez back in action for the first time in nearly a year, having last fought in June 2024 when he took on Steve Claggett.
That was the second defence of his 140lb belt, having won it back in June 2023 when he defeated Josh Taylor at Madison Square Garden Theatre in New York.
The third defence of his title now comes against Barboza, who became mandatory challenger after an impressive win over Jack Catterall in February.
Barboza has also claimed wins over the likes of Jose Ramirez and Jose Pedraza in his career, but faces the toughest test yet against Lopez, who also previously reigned as unified lightweight world champion after a victory over Vasily Lomachenko.
The Lopez vs. Barboza fight takes place at Times Square in New York, on a card that also features Ryan Garcia facing Rolly Romero, and Devin Haney meeting Jose Ramirez.
