Terence Crawford is one of the greatest fighters of the last decade.

The 37-year-old from Omaha, Nebraska has enjoyed an outstanding professional career to date, winning world titles in four weight classes as well as the undisputed world championship at super-lightweight as well as welterweight.

Crawford has defeated an abundance of highly ranked fighters during his tenure, including the likes of Israil Madrimov, Errol Spence Jr and Shawn Porter. He remains unbeaten through 41 outings, as he looks to see out the duration of his career without a single defeat.

Another American fighter who had an exceptional career of his own is Floyd Mayweather Jr, who defeated all 50 of the opponents he faced whilst winning world titles in four weight classes along the way.

Speaking to Club Shay Shay, ‘Bud’ Crawford was asked if he believes there is one fighter capable of defeating Mayweather during his prime, before claiming he is the greatest fighter of all time in his opinion,

“Floyd beats everybody … I don’t know but it’d be tough, Floyd, man, that boy’s the GOAT, that boy’s bad.”

Mayweather drew the curtain on his career in 2017, just a short while after he defeated MMA legend Conor McGregor in their monumental cross-over bout in August of that year.

At the peak of his powers, ‘Money’ got the better of a number of generational greats, including the likes of Manny Pacquiao, Oscar De La Hoya and Canelo Alvarez, who is due to face Crawford in a mega-fight later this year.
