Terence Crawford is looking forward to the heavyweight rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury in December.

As the fight draws closer, predictions keep coming in and both men have got plenty of backers for this showdown in Saudi Arabia.

It comes seven months after they first did battle for the undisputed crown in May. That was a close contest with plenty of back and forth but one standout round for Usyk in the 9th was enough to clinch it for him on the cards.

That left Fury with his first-ever loss to ponder and now former two-weight undisputed champion Crawford has been asked how he thinks the second fight will go.

“That’s tough man. I know the first time, the first fight I picked Usyk and, you know, Usyk’s a good friend of mine, Tyson’s a good friend as well but not as close as me and Usyk. I think it’s going to be an exciting fight again. I think Tyson Fury is going to go to the drawing board try to pick up where he left off. Make the adjustments earlier than he did in the first fight.”

Crawford believes Fury will come in with a different game plan this time around.

“I don’t think he got overconfident I just think Tyson Fury went through a lot in his personal life and I just think him training, the fight being postponed, that all plays a factor. I think this fight is going to be more competitive. I just think Tyson Fury going to come in with a different game plan like he did with Deontay Wilder.”

After fighting Wilder on the back foot in their first fight, Fury was much more aggressive the second time around and ended up stopping the American, something he would love to repeat against Usyk, who is yet to lose in the professional ring.
