Terence Crawford was an interested spectator during the Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano trilogy bout on Friday.

Taylor and Serrano collided for the third time when they met at Madison Square Garden in New York, with the Irishwoman putting her undisputed super-lightweight titles on the line.

The first two bouts had gone the way of Taylor, winning the first fight by split decision at the same venue back in April 2022, before she claimed a unanimous decision win at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas last November.

Some fans felt that Serrano was unlucky to come up short in both of those fights, but Taylor ensured she ended the rivalry once and for all by claiming a majority decision victory this time around, with the judges scoring it 97-93, 97-93 and 95-95 in her favour.

Pound-for-pound superstar Crawford shared his thoughts on the bout following its conclusion, posting on social media his verdict about the bout.

“Some people just have your number. Another great fight tho. Shout out to all the ladies that preformed tonight. Job well done!”

Crawford is currently in preparations for a big fight of his own, as he will move up two weight classes to challenge undisputed super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas in September.

Just like Taylor, Crawford is currently a two-weight undisputed champion, so a victory over Canelo in September would see ‘Bud’ further cement his status as one of the greatest fighters in recent memory if he is able to claim undisputed status in a third division.
