Fans eagerly await Terence Crawford‘s next move.

The switch-hitter from Omaha, Nebraska has been considered one of the very best fighters on the planet since his statement win over Errol Spence Jr in 2023 to become undisputed welterweight champion.

Despite many billing the bout as a pick ’em, Crawford largely dominated from the opening bell, sending previously-undefeated Spence to the canvas twice before scoring the stoppage.

Following that victory, ‘Bud’ took to social media to enjoy his newfound praise and made it clear that two men he had previously wanted to fight, namely Danny Garcia and Keith Thurman, would never get an opportunity with him.

“My, my how the tables have turned. Danny Garcia you [and] Keith Thurman will never and I mean never get a shot at the top dog and that’s me. Y’all hoe asses didn’t want no smoke when I wanted to fight [remember.] Now y’all want to fight so bad – go keep fighting each other like [before].”

Garcia – who had previously lost to Spence – made a long-awaited return to the ring last year at middleweight, being defeated by Erislandy Lara which prompted many to call for his retirement from the sport.

Thurman has also been extremely inactive, fighting just one since his sole loss to Manny Pacquiao in a win over Mario Barrios. He was slated to challenge for the WBC Super-welterweight World Title last year but pulled out due to a bicep injury.

Crawford, however, did make a debut in that division in the time since, beating Israil Madrimov to snatch the WBA belt. He has since been on a mission to land a fight with Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez two weight-classes up.
