Current WBA Oceania super flyweight champ Andrew “The Monster” Moloney, 18-0-(11), scored a 10th round tko win over former WBA super flyweight king Luis “El Nica” Concepción, 37-6-(26) at the new Bendigo Stadium in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia on Saturday.
Following a pretty even first half of a very tough bout, Moloney stepped up a gear to take control of a very tough bout. And although, Concepion fought back in round nine the fight was stopped after 1.58 of the round when Moloney landed a series of big shots punches that were pretty much unanswered.
On the undercard junior middleweight Tim Tszyu went 11-0-(9), by scoring a first round stoppage win over Marcos Jesus Cornejo,19-4, (18).The bout was stopped after Tszyu wobbled Cornejo with a series of shots after 2:21.
