Tim Bradley thinks one fight to be made is bigger than any other out there right now.

There are already huge events on the horizon. Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol battle it out for the undisputed light-heavyweight crown in a match-up that has been brewing for years.

Anthony Joshua is fighting Daniel Dubois for the IBF Heavyweight World Title in September in front of a record-breaking Wembley Stadium crowd. In December, Tyson Fury is looking to avenge the only loss of his professional career when he takes on Oleksandr Usyk in their rematch. Should Joshua and Fury win, their eventual match-up could be huge.

In the future, Gervonta Davis may face off with fellow undefeated champion Shakur Stevenson in what promoter Eddie Hearn believes will be the best fight in the sport.

However, speaking to Title Sports Network, former world champion Bradley believes it’s Terence Crawford’s pursuit of Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez that would be the biggest spectacle.

“Crawford Canelo. Crawford Canelo is the biggest fight. It’s one of the biggest if not the biggest fight in boxing.”

It was put to Bradley that the fight may not happen due to the tension between Turki Alalshikh and Canelo, but the American fighter-turned-analyst believes money will trump that.

“Talk is talk, but, money can change everything. I think it’s the biggest fight right now, many people might disagree with me, but put it on the line.

If Canelo’s talking about easy money, put your money where your mouth is. You beat Crawford, it’s easy money, why not do it? Makes no sense. I get Canelo, he’s his own boss, he don’t need Turki Alalshikh, that’s obvious, but the biggest fight in boxing is Canelo Crawford.”

Crawford is currently 154lb champion and has been undisputed king in two previous weight classes. Canelo is the current three-belt ruler at super-middleweight having also held titles in both higher and lower classes. Many in the sport have warned ‘Bud’ that the weight gap between where he is now and where Canelo has been fighting for some years is too big of a jump, but he is adamant that it’s the only fight he wants to add to his legacy.

Canelo has made it clear that no further talks on the match-up will take place until he faces Edgar Berlanga on September 14.
