Having enjoyed considerable success since his professional debut back in 2008, ‘Bud’ Crawford continues to stake his claim for being one of the greatest fighters to have ever laced up the gloves.

As for Mayweather, the former pound-for-pound superstar proved his credentials time and time again during his tenure, which saw the Michigan native win each of his 50 career outings between 1996 and 2017.

One man who is known to have shared his expert opinion on some of the biggest and best names in the sport is fomer two-division champion Timothy Bradley Jr, who transitioned into an analyst role with ESPN after announcing his retirement.

In an interview with Fight Hype, Bradley didn’t hesitate to share his thoughts on the outcome of an intriguing fantasy match-up between Mayweather and ‘Bud’ Crawford.

“Terence Crawford would beat a prime Mayweather. I said this five years ago. I’m telling you, he would beat him.”

As he enters what appears to be the final act of his incredible career, ‘Bud’ Crawford is just two months away from doing battle with Mexican icon and reigning undisputed super-middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez, as they prepare to do battle in a ‘mega-fight’ on September 13 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
