Terence Crawford sits right at the top of many a pound-for-pound list, but former two-weight world champion, Tim Bradley, believes one man has achieved more in the sport.
Crawford is coming off the back of a career defining performance against Errol Spence Jr, becoming the first man to secure undisputed status at two weight classes in the four belt era.
It didn’t take long for former cruiserweight champion, Oleksandr Usyk, to join Crawford in that exclusive club.
Usyk handed Tyson Fury his only career defeat in May, outpointing the Brit with a majority decision on the scorecards. With that, he took ‘The Gypsy King’s WBC belt and accomplished his goal of becoming the first undisputed heavyweight champion for nearly 25 years.
Speaking to Pro Box Tv about the achievements of both men, Hall of Fame fighter Bradley believes no man can match what Usyk has done in the ring.
“I love Terence Crawford, he brings a ton of skill into the ring but he’s been extremely inactive. I love [Naoya] Inoue as well, he’s done some phenomenal things in the lower weight classes.
But Usyk man. You know, becoming undisputed at cruiserweight and going up to the heavyweight and facing a guy that hadn’t been beat in, I don’t even know how many years, you guys can do the maths, you guys are smart out there.
Beating Tyson Fury, who I highly truly believe is a great heavyweight champion or was a great heavyweight champion, is unbelievable and nothing that Terence Crawford has done in his career or nothing that Inoue has done in his career is greater than what Usyk has accomplished.”
