After Moses Itauma made quick work of Dillian Whyte, Timothy Bradley has summed up the British star’s chances against undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk.

It took Itauma just two minutes to pass what was considered to be the toughest test of his professional career to date, as he stopped two-time heavyweight title challenger Whyte in the opening round of their clash at the ANB Arena in Riyadh on Saturday night.

It’s now being reported that the 20-year-old rising British superstar could challenge newly-crowned undisputed heavyweight champion Usyk next, who stopped Daniel Dubois in the fifth round of their rematch at Wembley last month to capture all of the heavyweight gold for the second time in his career on July 19.

Speaking on his own Youtube channel, hall of famer Bradley shared his thoughts on a potential match-up between Usyk and Itauma, as he backs the Ukrainian great to ‘drown’ the 20-year-old during the later rounds.

“Hey Itauma, great job, way to get it done and look spectacular man, yeah, young 20-year-old phenom, that’s for damn sure … Great performance, but the young gun ain’t ready for Usyk, he ain’t done nothing yet to let me know … This dude ain’t been past six rounds yet. What happens when you get him past six rounds? That’s exactly what Usyk would do if he fights him, he would take him past six rounds, and then he will drown him.”

Whilst Itauma appears to be interested in a clash with Usyk next, Joseph Parker remains the front runner to challenge the unbeaten 38-year-old, with the WBO ordering the teams of both fighters to come to an agreement within 30-days before ordering purse bids.

Frank Warren recently revealed that Usyk has requested an extension on this 30 day period, after he had sustained an injury which looks to have delayed his return to the ring.
