Tim Bradley thinks there is a boxer out there who could put an end to Shakur Stevenson‘s career-long unbeaten run.
New Jersey-born Stevenson is one of boxing’s most accomplished talents. A southpaw with exceptional speed, timing and strong defensive instincts, he won silver at the 2016 Rio Olympics then turned professional the year after.
He claimed his first world title at featherweight in 2019 and has gone on to become a champion across four weight divisions. Last time out, his 12-round points decision victory over Teofimo Lopez in January 2026 secured the WBO super-lightweight crown and took his unbeaten record to 25-0, with 11 knockouts.
Now a free agent, having left Zuffa without fighting for Dana White’s promotional outfit, he has been linked with a fight with two-time featherweight ruler O’Shaquie Foster and, speaking to the Inside Ring Show, Bradley admitted who he would be siding with if the pair were to fight now.
“Ima tell y’all right now. I’m favouring Shaq, I’m favouring Shaq in the fight right now, if they were to fight, yeh. I hope that gets you pumped up Shakur, yep, I’m favouring him.”
33-year-old Foster has held the unified WBC, IBF, WBO and Ring magazine titles since October 2026, when he beat Emanuel Navarrete over 12 rounds, and has also bested the likes of Raymond Ford, Stephen Fulton and Robson Conceição with a record of 26 wins from 29 fights and 12 KOs.
He and Stevenson have previously shared the ring as sparring partners but have since had verbal fallouts, and Foster has admitted he would be ready to move up in weight for the contest.
As neither men are big punchers, this top-level world title fight would be a tactical battle of the highest quality.
