Hall of Fame inductee Tim Bradley has had his say on the controversial match-up between Gervonta Davis and Jake Paul.

Three-weight world champion ‘Tank’ Davis is set to make his return to the ring against ‘The Problem Child’ in a ten round exhibition clash on Friday November 14 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.

The controversial bout between the American duo will have a maximum weight limit of 195lbs in place for both fighters, a decision that has been met with criticism from the boxing community since it was announced.

‘Tank’ has not fought at a weight class higher than super-lightweight during his professional career, whilst Paul has campaigned between cruiserweight and heavyweight since he made his debut back in 2020.

One man who has now offered his take on the bout is Bradley, who reigned as super-lightweight and welterweight world champion during his own career.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Bradley made no mistake in backing Davis to prevail against Paul next month, as he claims ‘The Problem Child’ is ‘too inexperienced’ to get the job done.

“Check this out, Tank ain’t gonna lose this fight, hell no Tank ain’t losing this fight … Man Jake don’t have enough experience, yeah man it’s gonna be taking candy from a baby, Jake is missing the rules. See this what happen when you don’t grow up in the game.”

Davis had originally been in line to rematch Lamont Roach Jr next, but instead the 30-year-old has welcomed a brand new challenge against a man who stands at eight inches taller than him, and who weighs in at 60 pounds heavier than him on average.
