The predictions continue to come in over the proposed clash between Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford.
Despite being separated by two weight classes, a fight between Canelo and Crawford continues to gain momentum, as both men look for opponents for Spring 2025.
Alvarez was last in action in September when he retained his WBC, WBA and WBO super-middleweight titles with a unanimous decision victory over Edgar Berlanga.
Crawford competed a month prior to that, defeating Israil Madrimov to win the WBA super-welterweight title in his 154lb debut.
With ‘Bud’ having to put on another 14lbs in order to reach the super-middleweight limit, many observers believe that a fight against Alvarez may be a bridge too far for the Nebraska native.
One man who disagrees with that take though is two-weight world champion turned boxing analyst Tim Bradley, who revealed on his YouTube channel that after studying both men, he now sees it being a dominant victory for Crawford.
“I woke up 3am and something told me to study Canelo and study Crawford. Crawford is about to beat the sh*t out of Canelo Alvarez. I’m letting you know right now. He’s about to beat the breaks off of Canelo Alvarez.”
A win for Crawford would be an incredible achievement, as he looks to add to his already superb accolades which include becoming undisputed at both super-lightweight and welterweight.
Canelo will be seen as a favourite though heading into the bout, and he has summed up in just five words why he is confident he would be victorious.
