Tim Bradley Says Unbeaten World Champion Is ‘Gone’: “I’m Sorry To Tell You”

Hall of Fame inductee Timothy Bradley Jr has made a sensational claim about one reigning world champion in particular.

Bradley enjoyed an exceptional professional career of his own, becoming a world champion at light-welterweight and welterweight throughout the course of his tenure.

The California-native suffered just two defeats along the way, racking up victories over the likes of Lamont Peterson, Ruslan Provodnikov and Juan Manuel Marquez to name just a few.

He is also commended for his memorable trilogy with Filipino legend Manny Pacquiao, defeating the eight-division world champion in their first encounter back in June of 2012 to capture the WBO world welterweight title.

Since announcing his retirement from the sport back in 2017, Bradley has gone on to work as a commentator and analyst for ESPN, covering a number of high-profile bouts in recent years.

Speaking on his Youtube channel, Bradley shared an honest assessment of unbeaten WBA lightweight champion Gervonta Davis, as he claims the 30-year-old is ‘gone’ ahead of his upcoming exhibition clash with Jake Paul.

“Tank’s gone, he’s gone, Tank is gone, sorry to tell y’all man … You gotta understand what comes with fame, I don’t think anybody had that talk with him, you gotta understand what comes with fame, what comes with fame is a double-edged sword, it’s great, the money’s great but people’s all in your business, all your business is always out there for people to see, cameras always on you, people always constantly talking about you and no one had that talk with Tank man, and I wish they did to let him know.”

Davis is less than two months away from facing Youtuber-turned-boxer Paul in a ten round exhibition bout in Miami, a bout that has been the subject of criticism from fans and analysts around the world.

The 30-year-old from Baltimore revealed in a social media post earlier this week that he plans to announce his retirement from the sport after he shares the ring with ‘The Problem Child’, a decision that has left the boxing community in disbelief.
