Tony Bellew Reveals His Honest Katie Taylor vs Amanda Serrano Winner: “She Has Her Number Now”

Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano once again fought a battle for the ages in their rematch this past weekend.

The two boxing legends were the chief support on the card that was topped by Mike Tyson versus Jake Paul at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and their 10-round war was as eventful as the main event was not.

Once again both women engaged in almost endless exchanges across the entire fight. Serrano – who wobbled Taylor in the opener – suffering a bad cut from a headclash which bled heavily, but she still refused to take a backward step.

At the conclusion of the fight, it was Taylor who had her hand raised and retained her WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO female super-lightweight titles to take her record to 24-1.

The epic battle was a repeat of the first fight the pair had back in April 2022 at Madison Square Garden, not only in result but in how much drama and excitement it served up for fans.

Many people agreed the fight was close and could potentially have gone either way. After the fight, Tony Bellew took to X to state his view that Taylor simply knows how to beat Serrano, but that he would also be open to another clash.

“Katie Taylor and Serrano put on another classic but KT just has her number! Both amazing fighters.. there styles gel so brilliantly and I’m sure we’d all love to see a 3rd.. “

Fellow female great Claressa Shields commented after the fight and also revealed she felt the result was fair.
