Yesterday saw the PBC press conference to formally announce a middleweight title fight between Jermall Charlo and Dennis Hogan, which will be broadcast live on Showtime in the US.
Despite the importance of the fight, the tragedy surrounding Patrick Day – the boxer who lost his life earlier this week – was never far from the thoughts of those assembled. Moving tributes were rightly paid to a man, it seems, who was liked by everyone.
