Tyson Fury saw one of the biggest fights in world boxing evaporate before his eyes when he watched Anthony Joshua lose to Daniel Dubois.

Saturday night at Wembley stadium saw an epic slugfest between two Brits. Joshua was knocked down at the end of the first round and never seemed to recover. He was put down several more times in the ensuing rounds before being caught with a stunning short right hand while unleashing some attacks of his own on Dubois. That punch left him face down on the canvas and struggling to get up as the referee waved the fight off.

One of the 96,000 people in the crowd was former WBC world champion Fury who sat in the front row. He has his own much-anticipated contest on December 21st when he rematches undisputed champion Usyk and attempts to avenge the only loss of his career.

He will have been hoping that if he managed to do so, he would then be able to head into an undisputed clash next year with the winner of this heavyweight showdown, mindful that if that were Joshua it would be a huge fight and possibly the largest purse of his already lucrative career

That will now not be happening and he revealed in a clip captured by TNT Sports Boxing how much Joshua’s loss has cost him,

“That cost me £150 million the silly c****. Of course it has, he’s f**ked.”

Joshua has vowed to carry on fighting which means he and Fury could still come together in the ring one day before retirement.
