Tyson Fury Sums Up John Fury’s Feud With Carl Froch Perfectly In 6 Words

Tyson Fury has had his say on the ongoing feud between his father John and Carl Froch.

‘Big John’ is never afraid to get involved in the build-up to Tyson’s fights, often coming head-to-head with members of the opposite team.

He famously did so with Usyk’s camp back in 2024, though his son went on to lose his first professional fight at the hands of the Ukrainian, and then a second at the end of the year.

More recently, he has been trading verbal blows with former super middleweight world champion Froch, with both men talking up a fight with the other.

Speaking to OOOSCH TV, Tyson Fury was asked about the confrontations and fighting talk.

“It’s all for views and clicks.

“I think the Saudis were very happy with it all and it gained a lot of attention. You wouldn’t think that someone 60 years old would create that much hype and attention but he does; he’s gold at it for sure.

“As for my dad at 60 years old wanting to fight Carl Froch and Carl Froch trying to boost his name off an old man’s name. Do you think I’m going to let my dad fight Carl Froch? Do you know what I mean?

“I’ll backhand Carl Froch. How’s he going to fight a 60-year-old man? Have some brains you silly f****r. Both of them. They need to have a bit of sense and show some professionalism.”

Fury himself is back in camp after more than 12 months out, and this month he returns against the big Russian Arslanbek Makmuhdov as he has one last tilt at getting back to the top, though his father has claimed his legs have now gone.
