All the details for Ultimate Boxxer 4, the latest edition of the modern tournament concept
The fourth edition of the eight-man Ultimate Boxxer tournament focuses on cruiserweights and may boast the finest field of contenders in the concept this far.
The contenders are: 18-3 Tony Conquest, a former Commonwealth champion; 5-0 Rhasian Earlington; 7-0-1 Dan Cooper, who trains under Ben Davison; 4-0 David Jamieson, a late replacement for Kent Kauppinen; 9-0 betting favourite Mikael Lawal; 1-1 Antony Woolery; 5-0-1 Kaan Hawes; 7-0 Damien Chambers and 5-1 Matt Sen.
The tournament format is the same as Matchroom’s Prizefighter series in that we have three quarter-finals, two semis and a final, all contested over three three-minute rounds. There are undercard fights too and the concept as a whole mixes boxing action with music and celebrity guests.
