Oleksandr Usyk has outlined his historic plans for his next fight.

Usyk was last in action in December when he defeated Tyson Fury by unanimous decision in their highly-anticipated rematch to keep hold of his unified heavyweight titles.

It was a repeat of their first meeting back in May, where the Ukrainian once again won on points, with that victory earning him undisputed status, before he chose to vacate the IBF belt in order to fulfil the rematch with ‘The Gypsy King.’

Ever since Usyk’s latest win over Fury, there has been speculation over who the heavyweight king will take on next, with a number of options available.

He has made it clear he would be willing to move back down to cruiserweight, where he previously reigned as undisputed, whilst there is also the possibility of taking on the winner between IBF champion Daniel Dubois and Joseph Parker, who meet later this month.

Usyk has now revealed to Sky Sports that he plans to face the winner between Parker and Dubois, which would give the Ukrainian the opportunity to make history by being the only two-time undisputed heavyweight champion since the three-belt era.

“I will fight who will win, Joseph Parker, Daniel Dubois, no problem.”

Usyk met Dubois back in August 2023, with controversy surrounding the bout after the Brit felt he dropped his rival with a body shot, only for it to be ruled as a low blow. The Ukrainian then recovered to win the fight by ninth round stoppage.

Since then, Dubois has claimed three big victories, the latest of which came in September when he stopped Anthony Joshua inside five rounds in a huge fight at Wembley Stadium, in what was the first defence of his IBF crown after being elevated from interim champion.

Parker will be looking to stop any plans for an Usyk vs. Dubois rematch though when he faces ‘DDD’ on February 22, with the New Zealander also in fine form having claimed victories over Deontay Wilder and Zhilei Zhang since December 2023.

All will become clear when Dubois and Parker meet in just over a week, and a big punching heavyweight that has sparred both men has made a bold prediction.
