Fabio Wardley Asked If Usyk Beats Prime Mike Tyson And Muhammad Ali

Fabio Wardley has predicted a winner if Oleksandr Usyk were to fight both Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali.

Wardley is heavyweight boxing’s newest champion. He was elevated from interim to full WBO belt holder following an impressive 2025 that saw him come from behind on the cards to knock out Justis Huni and then repeat the trick later in the year when he stopped Joseph Parker, who himself was on a fine run of form and pushing for another title at a world title.

So far in his career, meanwhile, generational great Usyk has not yet been presented with a puzzle that he cannot solve across either the cruiserweight or heavyweight division.

As he nears retirement, there are fewer and fewer challenges left, having beaten Antony Joshua, Tyson Fury and Daniel Dubois all twice each.

He recently decided to vacate his WBO belt rather than face Wardley and suggested instead that he would rather take on one of boxing’s biggest ever punchers in Deontay Wilder.

Speaking to Daily Mail Boxing, Wardley took part in a round of winner stays on and had to pick a winner between Oleksandr Usyk and Mike Tyson and then Muhammad Ali in their primes.

He initially picks Usyk to beat ‘Iron Mike’ and then, after a moment’s consideration, decides that Ali would have too much and would be victorious over Usyk.

It would be an intriguing fight, with Ali the naturally bigger man and a mobile heavyweight who could get his work done from distance, but also later in his career was not afraid to stand and trade.
