Frank Warren And Eddie Hearn Disagree On Their Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk Scorecards

Frank Warren and Eddie Hearn were both sat ringside for Oleksandr Usyk‘s rematch with Tyson Fury.

Warren saw his man Fury take his first loss back in May when Usyk became undisputed champion after a fine performance that gave him the points win.

Hearn has twice seen his charge Anthony Joshua beaten over back to back fights by Usyk, and now the pair have different views about the scorecards for Usyk’s second victory over Fury on December 21.

Speaking to FightHub TV, Warren was asked if he agreed with the decision.

“No I certainly didn’t. I can’t see how one judge didn’t give him a round from round six onwards and the other judges gave him one round each. A neutral was Oscar De La Hoya who was sitting there and he had Tyson winning like I did. I thought Tyson won it by a couple of rounds at least.”

Hearn meanwhile told Boxing King Media that he saw it as a draw.

“I thought it was a draw. I thought it was very difficult to split them. I look at the reaction and most people have Usyk winning the fight I guess. The main thing I will say is, that three judges scored it the same and I like it when that happens because sometimes we see a lot of variation. There were a lot of close rounds, they were very difficult to split.”

The consensus now seems to be the best options for Fury are to retire or to have one final epic contest with Joshua, while Usyk is already being linked with a second fight with Daniel Dubois to once again unify the heavyweight division.
