Frank Warren has been asked how his man Tyson Fury would get on against all time legends George Foreman and Muhammad Ali.
Fury has had a super career spanning more than 10 years in the pro ranks. He first became unified world champion back in 2015 with an epic win on away soil against the long-time ruler Wladimir Klitschko in Germany.
Since then he has had wins over the likes of Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora, two near upsets against Francis Ngannou and Otto Wallin and consecutive losses to Oleksandr Usyk, which sent him into retirement last January, though this year he has changed his mind and is now back training.
In a round of knockout with Daily Mail Boxing, Warren was asked who would KO whom between Fury and Ali, who is often regarded as the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time.
“I would have loved to have gone to the press conference, that would have been good. That’s a tough one. I’m a Brit, Tyson Fury.”
Fury was then put up against the former two-time world heavyweight champion and an Olympic gold medalist Foreman, and Warren didn’t hesitate.
“Tyson.”
‘The Gypsy King’ is back in the ring for the first time in over 15 months in April against the imposing Russian Arslanbek Makmukdov. There has been talk that he will revert to his jerky, twitchy, slick boxing style for this one as a way of avoiding the tougher, more physical battles he had in two of his three KO wins over Wilder.
