Trainer Mark Tibbs discusses the next fight options for Dillian Whyte and reflects on his December contest with Mariusz Wach
Aside from the heavyweight himself, no one believes in Dillian Whyte as fervently as his trainer Mark Tibbs. He has helped the Brixton man improve from a raw dangerman to, on results and form, one of the world top five in his division.
Next up for Whyte, according to promoter Eddie Hearn, should be one of Alexander Povetkin or Andy Ruiz Jr. Tibbs believes his charge can deal with either.
The top coach also reflected on Whyte’s comparatively sluggish performance against Mariusz Wach in December, and explained why the issues that plagued the Londoner then have now been eradicated.
