Dillian Whyte is already being called out for his next fight if he beats Moses Itauma this weekend.

That appears to be a big if, as Whyte has fought just two lower-level opponents in the last three years and has not looked at his best, although is in great shape for this fight on Saturday.

In the opposite corner is 20-year-old heavyweight hopeful Itauma, who is quickly rising through the division, having stopped 10 of his first 12 opponents, often inside the first few rounds.

Whyte will be hoping to roll back the years and replicate some of the performances he achieved earlier in his career, where he claimed victories over the likes of Joseph Parker and Derek Chisora.

One of those men is now willing to face Whyte again, as speaking to The Sun Sport, Chisora admitted he would be interested in a third fight with Whyte if he were to win.

“If he wins this one, maybe one more. If he wins this one, I will fight him.”

Whyte and Chisora have one of British boxing’s most entertaining rivalries, and it has been marked by two brutal, high-drama fights as well as plenty of verbal back and forth, including a warning from ‘Del Boy’ that ‘The Bodysnatcher’ should have stayed away from this weekend’s opponent.

Both men are known for their toughness and ability to slug it out in the ring, and so it proved across both of their contests. Their feud began in 2016 and was fuelled by heated press conferences and a near-brawl. The first fight in December that year at Manchester Arena saw Whyte edge it via split decision in one of the year’s best heavyweight scraps.

The second fight two years later was another fierce battle. Chisora was ahead on some cards before ‘The Bodysnatcher’ landed a huge left hook in round 11 to score a dramatic knockout.

They’ve since maintained mutual respect, often hinting at a possible trilogy but without it yet happening. That could change if Whyte wins and Chisora could finally have his long-awaited 50th and final contest sorted.
