Headline fight: IBF welterweight champion Errol Spence retained his title by winning a wide 12- round unanimous decision over Mikey Garcia 

 

The Undercard

 

* First step on the road to getting his title back - Former WBC super middleweight champion, David Benavidez (21-0, 18 KO’s) TKO 2 J’Leon Love (24-3-1, 13 KO’s).

 

* The comeback continues: Former heavyweight contender Chris “The Nightmare” Arreola (38-5-1, 33 KO’s) TKO 3 Jean Pierre Augustin (17-7-1, 12 KO’s) - Former heavyweight world champion Charles Martin (26-2-1, 23 KO’s) W DQ 8 Gregory Corbin (15-1, 9 KO’s). This was Arreola’s 2nd bout after being out of action for 2 years.

 

* Heavy-handed batamweight Luis Nery (29-0, 23 KOs) scored his 10th knockout in a row by stopping outgunned McJoe Arroyo (18-3, 8 KOs) in four rounds. Tijuana native Nery lost his WBC title on the scale a year ago.

 

* Dallas welterweight Amon Rashidi (6-0, 4 KO’s) TKO 6 over El Paso’s Gabriel Gutierrez (5-8, 3 KOs).

 

* San Antonio’s Jesse Rodriguez (9-0, 5 KO’s) TKO 3 Rauf Aghayev (26-7, 11 KO’s)

 

* Super welterweight Thomas Hill (8-2, 1 KO’s) W SD 6 Limberth Ponce (17-4, 10 KO’s). Scores read 60-54, 58-56 for Hill and 59-55 for Ponce.

 

* Unbeaten Aaron Morales (6-0, 3 KOs) W UD 6 Fernando Robles (2-1) Scores were 60-53, 60-53, 59-54.

 

* Cruiserweight Adrian Taylor (9-1, 4 KO’s) W UD 4 William Quintana (7-13, 3 KO’s) Scores were 40-36, 39-37 twice.

 

* Lightweight Luis Coria (11-2, 6 KO’s) TKO 2 Omar Garcia (6-8, 1 KO). Local super middleweight

 

* Errol Spence stable mate Burley Brooks (1-0, 1 KOs) TKO 1 Randy Mast (1-1)

 

* In a swing bout, unbeaten Mexican junior welterweight Lindolfo Delgado (9-0, 9 KOs) ended James Roach’s (5-2, 5 KOs) night with a bodyshot in the opening stanza. 

 

* In the opening bout from AT&T Stadium, super flyweight Robert Rodriguez (3-0) W UD 4 Fernando Ibarra (0-1) Scores 40-36, 40-36, and 39-37.
