Anthony Joshua weighed in at 247.8lbs, slightly more than in his last fight against Alexander Povetkin, for his unified world heavyweight title defence against short-notice substitute Andy Ruiz Jr.

The Mexican-American challenger looked typically undefined at 268lbs but thankfully has skills that belie his physique. Ruiz Jr was six pounds heavier than when he beat Alexander Dimitrenko in April and his largest since 2014.

All the other boxers in title fights on the show made weight, albeit Josh Kelly looked a little drawn in the face ahead of hitting the scales for his intriguing welterweight clash with Ray Robinson.
