Anthony Joshua believes there are plenty of exciting fights out there for him yet.

Joshua returns to the ring in July against Kristian Prenga in what is being viewed as a ‘warm-up fight’ before his clash with Tyson Fury later in the year. It will also be his first outing since being involved in a car crash in Nigeria, in which he lost two of his closest friends and team members.

Last time the former two-time unified heavyweight champion was in the ring, he scored a knockout win against an extremely overmatched Jake Paul. That came more than a year since ‘AJ’ was knocked out by Daniel Dubois in a failed attempt to win the IBF world title.

Despite many feeling the long-awaited Fury clash would be Joshua’s retirement fight, the Brit recently told the Ring he would like to fight for three more years until he is 40, and suggested some of the big nights that could await, including a rematch with one of the only four men to have beaten him and the current WBO world champion.

“Because I know if I stay around long enough, there’s the rematch with Daniel Dubois.”

He went on to name four other opponents he would be open to fighting.

“There’s a potential Fabio Wardley fight. There’s the Agit Kabayel fight out there, providing he becomes champion, how big that would be. There’s an Itauma fight as he’s coming up the rankings, there’s still the Deontay Wilder fight out there.”

The first thing he must do in order to ensure he has a fighting future is beat Prenga, and when they finally come to blows later in the year, Fury.
