Conor Benn Called Out By Unbeaten American Star: “I Stop Him Easy”

Conor Benn has been targeted for a showdown with an unbeaten former world champion who has vowed to knock out the Brit in emphatic fashion.

‘The Destroyer’ made his return to the ring last month when he defeated two-time world champion Regis Prograis via unanimous decision at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England.

It was Benn’s first ring appearance since he defeated fierce domestic rival Chris Eubank Jr at the conclusion of their rematch last November, just seven months on from suffering the first defeat of his career to his countryman.

The 29-year-old from London recently signed a multi-fight deal with Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing and is expected to fight once more before the end of the year, with an official announcement expected to be made very soon.

Whilst he appears to be interested in a clash with WBC world welterweight champion Ryan Garcia, Benn looks to be on the radar of former WBO lightweight champion Keyshawn Davis.

Speaking on the Inside The Ring Show, Davis admitted that whilst he believes Benn is a ‘great fighter’, he vows to stop the British star ‘easily’ should they cross paths in the future.

“I want to fight Conor Benn. You are a great fighter Conor and you know, you’re just, you’re him, you know what I’m saying? But at the end of the day, I will stop Conor Benn, guaranteed I will stop him. Easy money, easy. You know what I’m saying? So I would love to fight Conor Benn.”

Davis is set to make his return to action this month as he prepares to face countryman Nahir Albright for the second time at the Scope Arena in Norfolk, Virginia.

‘The Businessman’ was declared the winner in their first encounter back in 2023 but the result was later overturned after Davis returned a positive test for marijuana.
