Daniel Dubois and Moses Itauma are in the sights of a two weight world champion.
Both of these Brits haven risen to the top in recent years as older figures like Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk all edge closer to retirement.
Itauma is just 21 years old but has already won 14 fights, 12 by KO and all inside the first six rounds, and has shown great athletic ability, speed and punching power along the way.
Dubois has had a more up and down journey following losses to Joe Joyce and Usyk, but is a two-time world champion and the current WBO ruler following his impressive knockout victory over Fabio Wardley back in May.
In a clip shared on X, IBA Pro’s Al Siesta was in the ring after his man Murat Gassiev’s latest win and was calling out the two Brits as next on his hitlist,
“Daniel Dubois, Moses Itauama, he’s the guy, we’re coming for you very soon.”
Following Usyk’s decision to vacate his three remaining world titles recently ahead of one final fight, the WBA officially elevated Gassiev to full champion status in June 2026.
The former cruiserweight ruler defended the strap on June 11 with a sixth-round KO of Peter Kadiru and will now be seen as a target for all those hopeful of winning a world title, or in Dubois’s case, of unifying the division.
Before any negotiations could start, Itauma must first get past Filip Hrgović in August, while Dubois is set to rematch Fabio Wardley before the year is out.
