Tommy Fury could be set to miss out on a major lucrative fight.
Fury last competed in an exhibition against Eddie Hall in June, but arguably his most high-profile fight came when he claimed a split decision win over Jake Paul back in February 2023.
Paul has since beaten the likes of Nate Diaz, Mike Tyson and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, before being knocked out in six rounds last November when he took on former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua.
‘The Problem Child’, who once claimed he was “the biggest name in boxing,” suffered a badly broken jaw in that fight but has since begun talking about his return to boxing.
After denying that he had already shaken hands on a deal to fight in December because it’s a busy month with Tyson Fury likely fighting Anthony and Tommy already set to return, John Fury has claimed in a new clip that he instead suggested February of March, and he is sticking by that despite the money on offer.
“I don’t value $10 million. Confetti in this sh***ole of a world we live in today. Listen, what you can do, shove it straight up your a*s, mate, and never call us again. We don’t need you or Jake Paul or Logan Paul or any other f***er. Either fight in February or March, or f*ck straight off.”
