Dillian Whyte Names Heavyweight Hit List Ahead Of Return

Dillian Whyte is fast approaching 40 years old but is not yet ready to walk away from boxing.

The popular heavyweight has had an up-and-down career. At his best, he has challenged for world titles against the likes of Tyson Fury but has come up short, while he held the WBC interim title for a while after beating Oscar Rivas.

Whyte also lost to Alexander Povetkin in dramatic KO fashion during the COVID years when there were no ringside crowds, but avenged that loss in the immediate rematch.

He challenged Anthony Joshua for the British title in December 2015 in an epic fight that saw him wobble ‘AJ’ but eventually get stopped, while he has had three fights with Derek Chisora and has beaten Joseph Parker.

Last time out back in August 2025, following a time away from the sport after a third failed drug test in his career, Whyte was stopped inside the first round by young rising star Moses Itauma.

Speaking to iFL TV, ‘The Bodysnatcher’ ran through a list of men who would like to fight before retiring.

“Anyone. I would love to fight Derek Chisora if I got the opportunity. I would love to fight Baby Miller, Andy Ruiz. I would love to fight ‘AJ’, any one of them kind of guys. ‘ AJ’ should have fought me instead of fighting Prenga.”

Joshua fights Kristian Prenga in his first fight since knocking out Jake Paul in December last year and should he come through is set to fight Fury before the end of 2026.
