Mikko Salo lives in Vantaa, Finland. He got the spark to boxing fandom as an 11-year-old from watching the legendary Hagler vs Hearns war. As an athlete Mikko won the Finnish championship in American football in the 1990s. In his boxing writing he concentrates mostly on the heavyweight division.
